I was sitting in a coffee shop reading when I got a call from one of my best friends, Noelle, saying she had just gotten in a horrible accident near San Antonio. Despite her car flipping over several times she walked away with only one bad cut on her left hand and a few minor ones on her right. People immediately pulled her out of the car and helped her the best they knew how. I called my best friend Christian and we dropped everything to go see her. Above all else, I am so thankful for the miracle God worked yesterday in protecting her. On the way back home, Christian and I saw Isaiah 40:31 on the back of a truck, which says: “but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” It was only because of the Lord that Noelle was able to be a light in the emergency room to the people who were trying to be a light for her. Noelle’s faith is not exclusive to her or my own faith to me. It can be yours as well, all you have to do is recognize that Jesus loves you so much and the price of His love was sacrificing Himself on a dirty cross to be the atoning sacrifice to make up for all your sins to start the beautiful journey of eternity with God. “The gospel is this: We are more sinful and flawed in ourselves than we ever dared believe, yet at the very same time we are more loved and accepted in Jesus Christ than we ever dared hope,” -Timothy Keller. Don’t wait, life is too short and it fades away like a vapor. But you should go read her testimony of the whole event cause it’s a lot cooler than what I can write. noellevictoriia
"It is an error to believe that Christ did not teach a determined body of doctrine applicable to all times and to all men, but rather that He inaugurated a religious movement adapted, or to be adapted, to different times and different places."
- Pope St. Pius X
The Church is not meant to get with the times. The Church is meant to protect the Truth when the world around her changes. Doctrine is not something that adapts, because God is the same "yesterday, today, and forever." There is no salvation outside of Jesus Christ. His Church is the only interpretor of the Sacred Scriptures. She is "the pillar and bulwark of truth." (1 Timothy 3:15)
Protestant Christianity is undeniably false, because it contains a wide range of contradictions in its many false doctrines & traditions. All of these, a result of Sola Scriptura, or a belief in the Bible Alone apart from the Catholic Church. This is the fruit of man-made religion. This is something Jesus and the Apostles always warned about.
(Jude 1:19). God's Truth does not ever change, and therefore any Protestant doctrine that is foreign to the original faith of Christianity - that is, Catholicism- must be ignored and thrown away. God calls us to unity, not division. .
God set up His Catholic (universal) Church to be unified in doctrine all around the world, and to reject anything outside of it. (Ephesians 4:13-14)
The Catholic Church does not bow down to anyone in the world except for Christ. Modernism is to be rejected, and Catholicism is to be upheld until Jesus returns again.
Doctrine matters. Unity of the Church matters.

This scripture reminds us, as the Apostle Paul reminded his young protege’ Timothy, that we as Christians are engaged in a war for our souls and the souls of our family and friends every day of our lives once we choose to follow Christ. Satan doesn’t have to worry about non-believers, he already has them. His most fierce attacks are against our pastors and other spiritual leaders, then against us who are seeking to follow Christ. Because of this, we must focus on eternity and those things that affect our spiritual selves. We cannot be overly distracted by the things of this world because they are only temporary. Eternity is forever. Our spiritual enemy lies to us, tells us we can never be good enough, that we are losers, failures, and doomed. In Christ we know that we have set that part of our nature aside, and believe that we are born anew in His Spirit. Our new selves are righteous, forgiven, and made forever free. We no longer seek to conform to this world, but practice being renewed every day so that we can present ourselves blameless before Jesus. This spiritual war comes with trials, troubles, and sometimes heartache. Because of the sacrifice of Jesus to reconcile us with God, we should patiently endure these difficulties knowing that perseverance builds character and brings us close to God. We are good soldiers for Christ because He leads us, protects us, and saves us. If He is for us, then who can come against us?
