Ulagalantha Perumal Temple in Kanchipuram is one of the 108 Divya Desams (Holy abodes) of Lord Vishnu. Temple is located at a short distance from Kanchi Kamakshi Amman Temple. The temple tower is of 3 storied Gopuram.

This temple was built by Nandhivarma ||| during 846-869 A.D. Later, this temple was renovated by Pallavas and Cholas. The main deity inside the temple depicts this play. Where Lord shows His one finger of the right hand, which says that He has measured the first step. His left hand shows toe finger, which denotes the second step. For the third step, Lord raised His feet above, denotes the final step on Mahabali's head. Lord here called by Thrivikram.

As we always say, thaalis are one of the most special and auspicious components of a Hindu wedding ceremony. This step is taken by the groom when tying the thaali for the bride during the auspicious time and date. The thaali hails from a long-standing tradition of evolving designs in accordance to traditions, geographical regions, castes, family-traditions, weight, style and so much more. However, as you can imagine, this just goes to say just how special and personal the thaali is to a couple in signifying both the love the groom and bride share, in addition to being a reflection of their values and traditions. At VHV, we of course, always believe first in customizability and the ability to recreate your vision in real life through our hand-crafted jewellery. 
Today VHV presents to you one of our eleven poun vaarhai kodi thaali kodis featured in our finest 22 karat yellow gold, handmade to perfection. This features a hand-carved 3D amman thaali pendant using eloquent cutwork and design. On either side are two coins, featuring unique custom designs. The first coin features a lazer engraved image of the groom and bride on front, and back features the initials embossed of the groom and bride (V and L). The second coins feature a 3D embossed Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi on the reverse side. In between nestled are two pairs of beautiful stoppers, featured in high quality AD (American Diamond) white stones, and pure gold rounded stoppers. The muhappu (lock for the thaali) also features a hand-carved engraved font of the groom and bride’s name Venu and Luxi on a cloud shaped lock and hand-carved heart. The names are embedded within a background of gold bezel that sparkles and features a matted background.

Dedicated to Lord Sundareswarar, it was built by King Thirumalai Nayakkar between the years of 1628 to 1635, to serve as an abode of the Lord Sundareswarar and Goddess Meenakshi for summer months. Also known as Vasantha Mandapam, this historically important site is religiously significant as well. It is also popular for shopping among visitors.
