For the sake of Islam and the Qur'an Jesus Christ has gone to heaven
_The position of Prophet Jesus (PBUH) in the Quran and afterwards in the Prophetic Traditions and the Prophet's Traditions has a unique place and the subject of Jesus' return in the apocalypse has been included in some narrative sources as "The Holy Prophet". One of the signs or signs of the coming of the "Hour" or the Resurrection is the descent of Jesus from heaven, accompanied by other signs such as the emergence of the Mahdi and the emergence of the Antichrist. Jesus (as) is the only Qur'anic figure after Adam who walks in nature and history in an unnatural way. And, remarkably, its physical presence ends at the expense of nature and the realm of history to reappear in the apocalypse. The two titles "the Word" and "Christ", which are Christian titles for Jesus (as), also apply to the Qur'an; however, the Qur'an denies and forbids the belief in the Trinity. The Holy Quran also denies that he was crucified, stating that God raised him to heaven. Although the Qur'an rejects the Jewish-Christian historical belief about the crucifixion of Jesus, it confirms the Christian belief in Jesus' ascension to heaven. According to Christians, Jesus rose from the dead on the third day after being crucified and ascended to heaven. Then the early Christian congregation expected him to be the "Son of Man" from heaven on the clouds on earth. Come back and establish the promised kingdom of God. The Holy Qur'an is understood by many commentators as referring to the return or "revelation of Jesus" on occasion. According to many commentators in the verse: "And he [Christ] is aware of the Day of Judgment. (Because the descent of Jesus is near witness to the resurrection) Never doubt it ... ", refers to this meaning. Belief in the Revelation of Jesus (PBUH) In the apocalypse Many Muslim scholars have claimed that there is a divergent belief among Muslim sects based on the hadith and successive traditions. Jalaluddin Siwati writes of Mohammed Sajzi: "The news about the coming of the Mahdi .... That Jesus is going out with him and… has reached the toilet.

The shepherd and his flock have been ever-present symbols of the Lord and the people of His pasture. The ancient role of a shepherd was much more than an assignment to herd sheep. The shepherd loved his sheep, he knew them, named them, provided for and protected them. In return, the sheep responded to their shepherd and recognized his voice. His call alone could bring them back from their wanderings in unfamiliar paths. If lambs were lost, he sought them out and brought them back to the fold.
There are a couple of obscure but intriguing details in this painting. One is the image of the Golden Gate or Eastern Gate which once served as an entrance to the City of Jerusalem. According to ancient Christian tradition this was the site where Jesus entered the city on a white donkey on the Sunday before passover. In 1540 the Ottoman’s built the present walls of Jerusalem and a year later sealed the gate in defiance of the Jewish tradition that the Messiah would yet enter through that gate. Christian tradition asserts that this gate will remain closed until Jesus returns again to open it and enter the city. This painting alludes to the realization of that tradition. Another small detail in this painting is found in the background just to the right of the figure of Jesus. There is a single sheep amongst the herd which represent the one which is “lost no more.” Having at one time been lost, simply following the herd with heads down, this one sheep finally looks up. Perhaps he heard the call of the Good Shepherd, recognized his voice and is prepared to take the first step in a new direction.
"It is an error to believe that Christ did not teach a determined body of doctrine applicable to all times and to all men, but rather that He inaugurated a religious movement adapted, or to be adapted, to different times and different places."
- Pope St. Pius X
The Church is not meant to get with the times. The Church is meant to protect the Truth when the world around her changes. Doctrine is not something that adapts, because God is the same "yesterday, today, and forever." There is no salvation outside of Jesus Christ. His Church is the only interpretor of the Sacred Scriptures. She is "the pillar and bulwark of truth." (1 Timothy 3:15)
Protestant Christianity is undeniably false, because it contains a wide range of contradictions in its many false doctrines & traditions. All of these, a result of Sola Scriptura, or a belief in the Bible Alone apart from the Catholic Church. This is the fruit of man-made religion. This is something Jesus and the Apostles always warned about.
(Jude 1:19). God's Truth does not ever change, and therefore any Protestant doctrine that is foreign to the original faith of Christianity - that is, Catholicism- must be ignored and thrown away. God calls us to unity, not division. .
God set up His Catholic (universal) Church to be unified in doctrine all around the world, and to reject anything outside of it. (Ephesians 4:13-14)
The Catholic Church does not bow down to anyone in the world except for Christ. Modernism is to be rejected, and Catholicism is to be upheld until Jesus returns again.
Doctrine matters. Unity of the Church matters.

Pa S.G. Elton is probably one of the best things that happened to Christianity in Nigeria. As a matter of fact, if there is anyone who brought the real Gospel apart from the church-going kind of Christianity to Nigeria, I think it is Pa S.G. Elton. He was the one who taught those things about the gift of the Spirit, Holy Ghost baptism, five-fold ministry and so on and so forth.
To me, when you talk about ministry per excellence, a man who sold his life completely into the work of missions, Pa Elton is a prominent example. I think before he died he hadn’t been back to Britain for several years because he said, “What am I going there to do?” And in one of our intimate moments he said to me, “My son, I will contest Ilesha with you when Jesus returns (laughs). I’m going to tell the Lord that this is where I spent most of my life, where I did most of my work, and this is my heritage”.
Papa S.G. Elton knew the word of God and taught it with simplicity, with candour. He never held anything back; he said it as he understood it. I would not say that I agree with everything he said. That should not be a surprise because I am a mathematician, I was trained not to agree 100% with anybody (laughs). The only person I agree with is the Lord Jesus Christ and the benefit of this is it keeps your mind open so that you can learn more and more. So I’m not saying that in the sense of disagreeing per se.
He was a great instrument of God in the life of many people including myself. I visited him toward the end of his life every two weeks and I’d spend only one hour. And you can be sure we were not talking politics (laughs), we were not talking business. We were discussing the Lord Jesus Christ.
I remember that He said once that He regretted that he didn’t meet me earlier in his life, and I regretted that I hadn’t met him earlier but I thank God that the last days were profitably used and I think it’s on record that the last major meeting that He had in 1984 or 1985 was on this camp ground. He attended our convention, and the following January, he died. He slept in our little house, and we had time for fellowship together and I remember that his last sermon brought everyone of us
Why should we pray when God already knows our needs? Why tell God what He already knows or ask Him to do what He already wants to do?
Prayer is our greatest Christian privilege, we need to learn to pray more and to pray better. But one of the reasons we don't pray better than we do, or any more than we do, is that we have questions about prayer. These questions cause us uncertainty. Then our uncertainty sometimes neutralizes us and we become hesitant about prayer.
what more important commitment could we make than to commit ourselves to prayer? If we're going to impact our society, our country, and our world in these critical days, prayer is where it begins.
What was the first thing the Early Church did after Jesus' ascension? "They returned to Jerusalem…to an upper room" and "continued with one accord in prayer and supplication..." (Acts 1:12-14). "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God." Philippians 4:6
