Good Friday! We have hit record highs every day since this past Sunday, with the peak temps being Wednesday and Thursday when we soared to 100 degrees both afternoons. A front will allow us to be less hot today... but still hot with another record expected to fall. The record for today is 92. I am forecasting a high of 94 with mostly sunny skies.
Temps will be cooler this weekend with some clouds and a high of 88 Saturday. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a high of 85, and a few scattered showers possible through the day. Mornings this weekend will be a little cooler also in the low to mid 60s.
Another front will bring MUCH needed rain to the area. Latest model runs are showing 1/2" to 1" of rain falling through the day Monday keeping temps in the low 70s through the afternoon.
Behind that front the weather we have been waiting for will finally arrive. For the rest of the week Mornings will be in the low to mid 50s with highs in the upper 70s.
